Seyi Olusanya - Vulnerability in Design, Working with Pentagram, Dá Design Studio | THCP S1 Ep 4
Seyi Olusanya is an Executive Art Director based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is skilled in various disciplines and deeply passionate about the interplay between African culture and identity.
As co-founder of Dá Design Studio, Seyi led multiple teams on branding and type design projects across various sectors, collaborating with acclaimed local and international studios and talent.
He now works as a freelancer and leads design at Afrotype, a type foundry that creates typefaces inspired by African history and contemporary culture. In his spare time, he travels to observe and study different design forms wherever he goes.
In this episode, Seyi shares his journey from being an upcoming designer to co-founding one of the top design agencies in Africa. He shares his passion for Typography, experience working with Pentagram, the learnings, vulnerability in design, and the decision to close Da Design.
